The industrial park in Bröthen, which is known to most locals as Alte Ziegelei (old brickyard), is located in the southwest of Hoyerswerda, directly along federal highway 97. The mix of industries in this industrial park is characterized by construction or metal work.
Industrial estate 1,000 Mann-Lager
The industrial estate 1,000 Mann-Lager lies adjacent to the western border of the old town of Hoyerswerda. The industrial park is located between the federal highways 96 and 97 and is therefore very well connected to traffic. Companies specializing in metal construction, heat supply and the planning of utility systems have settled in the 1,000 Mann Lager industrial park. In this industrial park, there are pipelines for maintaining a low level of groundwater and the corresponding wells.
Schwarzkollm industrial park
Another industrial park in the city of Hoyerswerda is found in the Schwarzkollm district. This is located directly along federal highway 96 and is near the train station in Schwarzkollm, which is also a great location advantage. Schwarzkollm is home to the natural stone works (Natursteinwerke), which are a well-known supplier of building materials. In addition, the Schwarzkollm industrial park hosts various other service and manufacturing companies.
